As a pediatrician, I deal with vaccines all day every day. I am not old enough to remember when the polio vaccine first became available, but I can imagine that the excitement for it was similar to the excitement for the Covid vaccine's unveiling. Like many others, I have signed up to get the vaccine and am trying to wait patiently (which is hard because I am so excited!). Vaccine science will be forever changed with the advent of this mRNA vaccine. As a doctor who focuses on prevention, I cannot wait to see what the future holds!

#Social #Anxiety can be very stressful for children and can prevent them from making friends and performing well in school. Never hesitate to bring your child to the #Pediatrician or #ChildPsychiatrist if you notice him/her to be sad, not have friends in school, or have difficulties with academic performance. A proper evaluation can help make the correct diagnosis, determine the best treatment, and set him/her on the path to good #Mental #Health and fulfilling life experiences.

Pediatricians and Pediatric Allergists play a fundamental role in health coaching of children with asthma. Children love and respect their pediatricians, and the majority of times will follow their doctor’s advice. In the case of asthma, this can lead to the successful management of acute episodes and overall improved health and quality of life.

Nebulizers prescribed by a Board-Certified Pediatrician or Board-Certified Allergist can lead to dramatic improvement of Asthma. This is very important when children experience sudden asthma attacks, where the proper and quick intervention with the correct nebulizer combination can be key to reaching a full, and quick, recovery.
