Qualifications

Dr. Buckalew is a board certified PMR physician providing medical care for all ages and abilities. She is also a published researcher (as a pre-and post doc National Institute of Aging/NIH fellow) in the neuropsychobiology of chronic pain, and experienced integrative medicine physician trained in acupuncture, myofascial techniques, yoga/therapy, and Ayurvedic medicine. Dr. Buckalew provides traumatic brain injury (TBI) and IME disability evaluations and expert testimony, as well as a consultant for pain management program and research development with an emphasis on integrative medicine and neuromodulation for brain injury recovery and pain management.
